One sheet wonder

More bright and summer-y things from last year.
This set is Green Thumb from Papertrey Ink. This set is very versatile and happy.
I sometimes use a template for one sheet wonder that I found on Splitcoast stamper, but often times, I don't know what to do with some of the pieces, especially the triangle ones! Can't for the life of me get a good card with it.
Anyhow, now I just cut the paper to whatever mood I'm in.
Add some ribbon, flowers and a sentiment or 2 and you have a matching set for gifts or individual cards.

Thanks for looking,
Amanda

another OSW

Look at me.. sneaking off from cleaning, in the middle of the day to say hello! The kiddies are out with a sitter so I can tackle the clutter. I think I make a bigger mess before I get it all sorted. Are you like that? Working in one room, bring something to another, then start on a corner there, bring something to another room, start there. Before you know it, the whole house looks like a bomb hit and the kids will be back in 30 minutes! Guess that working on a deadline thing works for all sorts:}

Anyhow, here's another example of the one sheet wonder from the previous post.

This set was offered in a SU summer mini 2006, (I think, it was before my time of discovery. correct me if I'm wrong.)
The colour combo I LOVE and it was so easy to put together with the various punches and sentiments.

I did this set while attending one of Sarah's classes. THanks Sarah. An inspiration to all... so all things are Stampin' Up products, except for the ribbon and little flower charm.

Sorry I don't have pictures close up. I was in a hurry to capture them before I sold them at an open house. They sold like hot cakes. Thanks girls!!

Must get back to cleaning. Thanks for joining my little break...

One Sheet Wonder

Late posting tonight. I just finished putting together an Ikea Trofast shelving unit for the Toys, Toys, Toys!!!! With 2 children, you get many TOYS! I think they grow overnight. TOo many Toys. I still don't think we have enough storage for them. I've moved a few things around the living room and the kids have had fun discovering the old toys, so I CAN'T throw any of it away!!

Anyhow,
here is a fun project called a One Sheet Wonder (OSW). OSW is when you take a sheet of cardstock and stamp all over it. You can use images that don't need colouring, or ones that do need colouring. This is one from SU, is one of the first sets that I ever bought. HAD to have it. It is retired. Surprise! Then couldn't make it work for the longest time..until now.. with this colour pattern.

Once the Cardstock is stamped up to your liking, you cut the paper in different shapes from a template and then use the cut pieces to make the card. I also used the same idea for a take out box that I got from Joann's Craft store in the US.
THe Thank You sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and the tags are from Stampin Up. Ribbon is from michael's and I can't remember where the flower is from.
