After collecting limbs all summer, I finally caught DH with the saw out. So I got him to cut some stilts. 6", 4" and 2". He then drilled holes and I raided his sailing rope stash to use as handles.

The kids had fun trying out the different sizes. wobbling, going up hill, down hill

Falling down.

And when you fall down, you pick yourself back up...

Have a good one,
Amanda

Great! I used to have some made from tin cans :) My son is a bit wee, but they are a plan for later. Wonderful photographs.
Awesome!!! I had wood stilts made by my friends grandfather. I loved them. One of the best toys of all time. I love the way you made these.
